About the Program

The SunChild Foundation is committed to positively impacting our community’s children to reach for the sun with consistent, innovative, educational programming opportunities. In partnership with our sister company, The Sunshine Method, we are dedicated to changing the paradigm of education, one student at a time.

The SunChild Foundation’s proprietary programming incorporates hands on, experiential learning opportunities to increase student’s creativity, inquisitiveness, and eagerness to learn, while also developing key skills to inspire youth to have a happy and healthy lifestyle, regardless of their circumstances.

Our Impact

  • The SunChild Foundation strives to impact children’s lives not only in the area of education, but also health, and overall wellbeing. We believe that success is determined by a myriad of elements and experiences, and utilize a holistic approach in the creation of our weekly programs and initiatives to ignite curiosity.
  • To accomplish these goals, the SunChild Foundation’s programs incorporate hands on, experiential learning opportunities such as as life skills, science experiments, cooking experiments, music therapy, arts and crafts, field trips, story time, trivia nights, and more to promote lifelong success in a fun, engaging environment.

The Sunshine Scholarship

The SunChild Foundation is committed to empowering all children to reach their fullest potential! With the SunChild Scholarship, we respond to the education gap by providing academic tutoring and mentoring scholarships to children in need.

By completing a thorough review process and completing an essay or assignment, the SunChild Foundation provides highly qualified tutors to the children that need it most.
